A brief history of designer & letterer, Jeremy How. Getting into trouble in class for drawing, Jeremy learned the term “graphic design” after a stern talking to from his english teacher. It sounded much better than sitting quietly in a room memorising useless facts. In high school when spray painting walls became more fun, Jeremy discovered the importance of each and every letter. They had to be interesting, consistent and above all stylish. So Jeremy had to learn style, because his paint on the side of buildings often met harsh criticism. 3 design courses and 5 years later Jeremy began working as a full time designer. Now the senior designer at Billy Blue Creative Jeremy is taking the opportunity to put the countless hours of practicing letters to good use.
