This is probably one of the most interesting courthouse buildings in the world right now. Architects Christian Kronaus and Erhard An-He Kinzelbach, together with the engineering firm Vasko + Partner were working on renovation and extension of the old courthouse building in St. Pölten, Austria.
These photos are popping up all over the net sparking debates. We think this new section is an appropriate expansion of the old building. It follows the lines and rhythm of the traditional wing, while also reinventing the whole concept. The inside is a bit rigid though well, as you would expect from a functional building. What do you think?
