Ferragamo + Orange Fibre

Salvatore Ferragamo has launched a new capsule collection of clothing in collaboration with Italian manufacturer Orange Fibre. The eithical manufacturing company creates fabircs out of the waste from the fruit juice industry, a supply that is estimated to produce 700,000 tonnes of waste per year. Ferragmo's range is created out of a citrus fiber fabric, which has then been printed with illustrations of coloured and black and white fauna. The pieces reflect a passionate and ethical approach, one that seems like a giant shift for such a major luxury goods retailer.
