I've spent the last 6 years completing a Bachelor of Media and Communications at USYD... only to figure out that I don't want to just be a journalist! During my degree I did a few design elective units- just the basics. But I loved it! From that point, I've tried to combine my interest in journalism with my passion for graphic design. For the past year, I've been doing internships which involved the two in some capacity. Currently, I'm applying for a Diploma of Graphic Design with Billy Blue as another step forward to make this career a reality!
I learned a lot about myself over these 6 years. I've agonised over what my 'thing' is and who I want to be when I 'grow up'. I've gone back and forth and around again. But now, I've moved past this angsty stage, finished what I started and made peace with my passion- I'm all in now and I want to hit the ground running!

Overview
This is a trifold brochure I made for a real life client- a local dance studio (The Academy of Performing Arts Macarthur). It was to be placed at an enrolment booth, and meant to educate the parents of potential new students about the classes available. I tried to depict boys and girls equally due to the gender stereotypes that exist against boys in the dance community.
