Mainly attracted to cultural projects, with three years of experience in product design and development with artisanal communities, participation and exhibition on fairs and events, support on product design focused on sales department, and training, consultancy and public management.

Overview

Artbo is an international art fair that takes place in Bogotá, Colombia; Artesanias De Colombia a state company which aim is to support artisans from the country, has participated for various years with traditional objects made by Colombian artisans from all over the region. The purpose of this project is to provide a more luxurious and artistic look to the traditional products by changing the colors, adding new materials and joining two or more traditional techniques into one product. It is a long process were we as designers work together with the artisans to make possible the changes in colors and materials without altering the traditional techniques.
This collection exalts the classic traditional techniques with the use of metals such as copper, gold, silver and bronze highlighting with this each piece of work made by indigenous, afro, traditional and urban communities from all the country.
