This project was undertaken during my bachelors degree in Graphic Communication in South Wales. The BBC issued a brief that asked for ideas on how to stay up and coming in the flux of media production and the modernisation of how people stay up to date with global events. The solution was to create a digital space where festival guests could communicate their experience via virtual reality with those wanting to watch from home, and create an immersive space where everyone could view the festival as if they were there in person.
In the app you could also arrange to meet up with friends and family, and other community members, at a public space (found on an in-app interactive map) and watch the festival together.
For people at the festival, the app would include a full schedule of events that you could favourite and set up reminders, and write and view reviews of shows. The app would create a useful community space where guests, performers and people at home could come together.
