A much awaited and exciting career change from Nursing - to Floristry - to Interior Design! I have completed an accredited short course in 'Styling for Interiors', as a way to get a basic feel of studying in this field, and absolutely fell in love with all things interior - however I found that I want to do more than interior decorating (although want to definitely incorporate this into my new career path) - and thus, am very excited by and driven to undertake the Interior Design Diploma with Billy Blue College of Design.

Overview

Updated bedroom style. This project was quite simple really - I was faced with a relatively clean and plain canvas, that was outdated and boring - and the client wanted the look more fresh, more modern and colourful. We chose a paint colour that showed definite difference between the walls and the usual ceiling white, whilst not making it too different, so that the furniture style and colours could easily be changed around, I went with dark grey curtains and a much lighter and softer carpet. I chose modern scandinavian furniture, and a comfortable material bed suite, and added the modern pops of colour that was important to the client.
