The author

Hi, my name is Zeeshan Ajmal. I'm currently 17 years old and I am finishing up my final year of high school. I went to St. Dominic's College Kingswood, also I don't know why it says BillyBlue College of Design apparently it won't update for me. The variety of works displayed are ones that I have produced for my school assignments and some are done in my spare time.

Rationale & Artist Statement:
The immense scale of the artwork highlights the significance of the issue and how it has a tremendous impact and cannot be overlooked, with the use of charcoal further accentuating the link between Carbon emissions. The artwork displays various of growing building which reach out to the sky, representing the ever-growing influence of urbanisation concerted with carbon emissions. The legs in the foreground emphasise the role that mankind plays with influencing carbon emissions as we are the ones who cause this vital issue, but we can also be the ones to resolve this issue.
The work takes inspiration from the realistic charcoal drawings of Catherine O’Donnell & Adam Cusack.
