The author

I am currently a high school student. I am very interested in a variety of art mediums including painting, music, story-telling, and as odd as it might sound video-games. I am planning to study in the field of video games in the future and hopefully work independently on my own craft, and my own story. I hope to study game-development, and game-art since I'm into both maths and visual art. Nothing's more fun, interesting, and fascinating than designing worlds and giving behaviors to things.

EVoid, is a roguelike, bullet-hell game that I have been working on for almost 10 months. At first, I used game maker studio 2 as the engine. I created a prototype of the game and explored what I could do with it. After publishing a few prototypes, I decided to use the Godot game engine instead.
The player plays as a virus who's trying to crack the mainframe of a network. In order to reach the mainframe, the player has to navigate their way through a procedurally generated world, dodge bullets, dash through obstacles, and merge into the anti-viruses to take control of them. I'm very excited to develop this game further into a more polished, and well-rounded game where the player would encounter more tricky situations to overcome.
All of the programming, artwork (sprites, graphics, trailer), SFX, and design were done by me. However, the music pieces were gathered from the Youtube audio library.
