The author

I am currently a high school student. I am very interested in a variety of art mediums including painting, music, story-telling, and as odd as it might sound video-games. I am planning to study in the field of video games in the future and hopefully work independently on my own craft, and my own story. I hope to study game-development, and game-art since I'm into both maths and visual art. Nothing's more fun, interesting, and fascinating than designing worlds and giving behaviors to things.

EVoid, is a game project that I have been working on for almost 10 months. At first, I used game maker studio 2 as the engine. I created a prototype of the game and explored what I could do with it. After publishing a few prototypes, I decided to use the Godot game engine.
The setting of the game is in a future world where everything is uploaded to the cloud/internet. Although this is not yet demonstrated in the game, the player is a virus created by an AI who wants to take down all of the mainframes and take control over them. The AI gave the virus a learning ability, which means the more mistakes the virus makes, the more it learns.
The player plays as this virus and their objective is to take down the mainframe. Levels are procedurally generated.
All of the programming, artwork, sfx, and design were done by me. However, the music pieces were gathered from the Youtube audio library.
