Project details

Overview

Guerrilla Play Space was the project that got me play multiple roles in a team. We have come up with the idea to make a plant box from rubber and plastics; this was a project that cooperated with Auckland Council. Our purpose was to raise peoples' awareness on saving our environment because we do not want our offsprings only to be able to experience mother nature only from the manufactured artificial grasses and flowers.
We used the light sensor as the switch for triggering the movement and lighting up the little "mushrooms." So when people walk through the space between the two boxes, they will block the lights hitting directly on the sensors in the opposite box when the sensor reads a lower value, it will turn on the whole thing.
