I wanted to recreate the iconic image of Sydney’s Harbour Bridge that I grew up with.
This was taken during my first attempts at night photography at the ‘golden hour’.
I dreamt of night photography since my first DSLR and was exceptionally excited to capture this shot
I set the ISO to 100 and aperture to f16. I used a tripod to prevent camera shake due to the long exposure of 16 seconds. The long shutter speed was required to increase the exposure and capture movement of the boats passing under the bridge.
I wanted to capture movement to give the image a little while still being able to recognise Lunar Park.
