I wanted to learn a bit more about the commercial side of photography. There are a lot of influences from advertising into social media. You cant escape adverts, they are on every site, shoving their product in your line of view. A big part of photography is based on what we see and sometimes things aren't as they seem. With heavy editing, enhancing and manipulation, we can change how people perceive things without them even knowing it. Making these products seem perfectly polished when they're not was the best part. I had to layer images and create things that were never there in the first place just to create a theme and enhance the products. Another aspect of product photography is the high tech equipment used in studios, which i do not have, but these photos show that you do not require such things to produce a 'professional' looking shot.
