Overview
An acrylic painting focusing on silence and being unable to speak. Even when we are given the opportunity and chances to speak we still keep silent in fear of what could happen. This portrait of a girl is faded out around her neck and braid displaying how she is slowly fading away and how being unable to speak is affecting her. The braid portrays the idea of the mouth being forced closed and having to untangle it to speak the truth.
