The author

I am a creative and driven individual looking to expand my career into the field of UX/UI design. Growing up, I was always drawn into events and projects around me that allowed me to express and utilise my passions in problem-solving, design thinking, innovation, and creating. From designing the logo, exterior and marketing our Year 6 RACV Energy Breakthrough pedal racer at the ripe age of 12, to studying Product Design at UniSA at 21, I have found myself chasing after activities and tasks that allow me to follow a project through from birth to end. I have been awarded two academic awards in design and also undertook a Product Development Internship in Fiji, supported by the NCP Mobility Program.

I have recently completed a B. Commerce (Int. Bus) where my other interests lie in general and project management. I would love to build a fulfilling career in the booming field of UX/UI, where I can combine my passions to improve and shape the systems we use in our everyday lives.

Overview

This portfolio is a summary of the courses I undertook at UniSA, studying first year of a B. Product Design. I am looking to further my studies in UI/UX design at Billy Blue in a Graduate Certificate of UX and Web Design, where I want to transition into a fulfilling career of being a UX/UI designer.

I was awarded with an Academic Merit in 2017 for my first year studies in Product Design at UniSA, and was lucky enough to be nominated to present my portfolio of work to prospective students of Product Design at O/Week in 2017.

Shown are snippets of my first year projects which demonstrates the skills I learnt over the year. I had a lot of fun with these projects and created things that exceeded my expectations of my own abilities. Engaging in one too many sleepless nights over the year was all worth it!
