Overview

An energy drink is a type of beverage containing stimulant drugs, mainly caffeine, which is provides mental and physical stimulation. They may/may not be carbonated and may also contain sugar or other sweeteners and amino acids. They are distinct from sports drinks, which are created to enhance sports performance. There are many brands and varieties of energy drinks. Energy drinks have the effects caffeine and sugar provide. Most of the effects of energy drinks on cognition; such as increased attention and reaction speed, are mainly due to the presence of caffeine. Revive, the prototype of my drink is a carbonated caffeine drink which provides mental stimulation on the go. The drink is targeted at the working population, ranging from 18 to 45. The basic idea behind the drink is to provide energy to those desk workers, slogging on the job, during the midday hours (post lunch) when it's unbearable to work as most of people feel sleepy. This coffee flavored drink will give them energy.
