This photo stood out to me because it shows the hierarchy behind a herd of young deer. There is something about the way all the deer are standing sideways or slightly to the side and and how one is looking directly at the camera, front and centre, straight through the lens. something about that one looks calmer than the others. She (what I think might be the alpha doe) looks a lot smaller but, at the same time looks so much stronger and more powerful. I also like how my chosen shutter un-intentionally captured the moment what I think is the doe flicking her ear communicating to the others that it may be time to leave.
