Overview

Maschiro Mori has put up a theme called "Bukimi no Tani Genshō" in the 70s, was soon translate as "Uncanny Valley,“ it is a term that describes people's feeling towards robots. Mechanisms are making the robots more "human-like," they would react to interactions, can show their emotions, people are quite amazed by how fast robot technologies had grown over the past couple of decades.
But at the same time, people discovers that the more realistic the robot looks, the stuff about them that's not so human (or not that well developed so far) will catch peoples' eyes, making the robot appears to be pretty creepy to some people.
Our project was to fabricate an external womb/belly and constructing an organ type growth of tissue inside it.
