Teenage girls my age are obsessed with fashion and social media trends and are likely to take more risks on safety. By combining these topics of fashion and safety, I will look to create a product to satisfy this need of safety in modern society for young females and teenage girls. My innovation is based on wearable technology and the unique value proposition would be to empower teens and young women. I have created a 12 piece range which has secret pocket in garment to hold safety device to help young women feel safer. my Spring Summer fashion range and idea this could be a very successful unique value proposition is making my idea “fashionable” and “cool” for young people. There is a barrier for adoption for my idea as there is no existing product for my target market of 15-21 for targeting safety through apparel fashion.
